Choose the Right Record Route

The source depends on the question. Use the paths below to reach the proper office or lookup.

  • The home page explains named-person searches and county release-record requests.
  • Post-Release Supervision covers parole and probation verification.
  • 24-Hour Releases explains the direct-contact fallback because no official feed was located.
  • Release Date Lookup separates projected dates from actual releases.
  • VINE Inmate Check covers event notifications and their limits.
  • Use the BOP Inmate Locator for federal sentenced custody and the ICE Online Detainee Locator for immigration custody. For U.S. Marshals custody, use the federal docket, identified housing facility, district office, or a USMS records request because USMS has no equivalent public name locator.
